Tosibox is fully retiring support for Key 100

To ensure the security of Tosibox customers, Tosibox is fully retiring support for Key 100. Key 100 tokens use older security cyphers and algorithms, and some of them (e.g., SHA-1) no longer meet modern security requirements.

Moving to Key 200 allows Tosibox to provide customers with the most advanced and reliable protection against potential threats.

Starting January 1, 2026, Key 100 will no longer be usable. This means Key 100TBK100 no background users will not be able to use Key desktop software to connect to Nodes, or control them, or use associated SoftKeys and MobileKeys (keys linked to your Key 100 token).

How to identify if my key is Key 100?
Please check the label on the back of your product. Just below the EAN code, you'll find a combination of letters and numbers. The first letter of this code indicates the product type.
If the code starts with the letter "B", then your key is Key 100.

How will this affect your environment? Please, contact our sales or your local Tosibox reseller.
